Clippers' Chris Paul: Sits out Monday

Paul (thumb) will sit out Monday's preseason game against the Jazz, Rowan Kavner of Clippers.com reports.

Analysis:

Paul is dealing with a sprained thumb, but it's nothing serious and he's expected to be available for Tuesday's preseason finale against the Kings. Austin Rivers will enter the starting lineup in his place Monday and should see extended minutes. With that said, Paul isn't in danger of missing any regular season action and his recent thumb injury isn't cause for fantasy owners to lower his draft stock.
