Kings' Ty Lawson: Skips Saturday's game for personal reasons
Lawson missed Saturday's 124-119 preseason win over the Wizards for personal reasons, Jason Jones of the Sacramento Bee reports.
Analysis:
It's not certain how long Lawson will be away from the team, but unless the Kings indicate otherwise, he's in line to open the season as the starting point guard while Darren Collison serves an eight-game suspension. Lawson will slide into a lower-minute role with the second unit once Collison returns, however, so his fantasy value doesn't figure to be long lasting.
