Finishing a regulation game with a quadruple-double is quite the rarity in the NBA, as the feat has only been achieved five times by four different players, but Kristaps Porzingis of the New York Knicks thinks he has it in him to be the first player since 1994 to pull it off.

"It's not impossible - 10 assists, 10 rebounds, 10 blocks, 10 points," the 21-year-old Latvian said Friday, according to the New York Post's Marc Berman. "I was messing around about it as something crazy to do. But it's in the back of my mind. One day, maybe I'll be able to do that."

It was in a piece for The Players' Tribune released Thursday that Porzingis first proclaimed his quadruple-double aspirations.

"Melo got close to a few triple-doubles last year - as the wing player in our offense, he's in a good position to set everyone up - so I know it's possible in our system. Ten blocks, though ... I don’t know," he wrote.

During his rookie season in the Big Apple, Porzingis finished with 21 double-doubles, which ranked second on the Knicks behind Carmelo Anthony (22) and tied for 32nd in the league.

His season-high in assists was only four, though - a total he hit twice. And he recorded seven blocks twice and six blocks twice.

It's clear his playmaking as a big man will need to drastically improve if he hopes to sniff the prestigious mark. Porzingis only averaged 1.3 dimes per game, along with 14.3 points, 7.3 boards, and 1.9 rejections over 72 appearances for the 32-50 Knicks.

Never say never, though.
