Bulls' Rajon Rondo: Will get Saturday off for rest

Rondo will be held out from Saturday's preseason game against the Bucks for rest purposes, Vincent Goodwill of CSN Chicago reports.

Analysis:

Rondo covered 30 minutes in Friday's win over the Cavaliers, putting up 20 points, six rebounds and six assists. With the Bulls aiming to keep the point guard fresh for the regular season, he'll get the second half of the back-to-back set off along with three of the team's other regular starters in Jimmy Butler, Dwyane Wade and Taj Gibson. With Rondo out, Jerian Grant or Spencer Dinwiddie figures to receive the start at point guard.
