Cavaliers' Iman Shumpert: Resting on Friday

Shumpert is being rested and won't play in Friday's preseason matchup with the Bulls, K.C. Johnson of the Chicago Tribune reports.

Analysis:

Shumpert is being rested along with eight other Cavalier players. With the team on the second night of a back-to-back they didn't even have the rested players travel with the team. Look for Shumpert to return for Cleveland's preseason finale against the Wizards on Tuesday.
