Bulls' Dwyane Wade: Playing Friday, Resting Saturday

Wade will play in Friday's preseason game against the Cavaliers, but will sit out Saturday's matchup with the Bucks, K.C. Johnson of the Chicago Tribune reports.

Analysis:

Wade indicated a few days ago that he would receive some rest over the weekend, so it appears the Bulls have mapped out their plan for him. He'll likely see something resembling a full workload in Friday's contest, but Isaiah Canaan looks like the frontrunner to replace Wade in the starting five Saturday night.
