Raptors' Kyle Lowry: Will sit out Friday's game
Lowry will sit out Friday's preseason game against San Lorenzo de Almagro to rest, Raptors radio play-by-play announcer Eric Smith reports.
Analysis:
Head coach Dwane Casey is rest all of his confirmed starters Friday as well as Terrance Ross and Jared Sullinger, as he doesn't want to risk anything against San Lorenzo of the Argentine Primera Division. Look for Cory Joseph to start in Lowry's place with undrafted rookie Fred VanVleet potentially earning some extra minutes at point guard as well.
