Bulls' Taj Gibson: Starting at power forward Friday

Gibson will get the start at power forward in Friday's preseason game against the Bucks, Nick Friedell of ESPN reports.

Analysis:

Head coach Fred Hoiberg has said as recently as Tuesday that he doesn't know who is going to start at power forward for the Bulls this season, with Gibson currently competing with Nikola Mirotic and Bobby Portis. Friday will provide Gibson an opportunity to prove he is deserving of the starting spot, but it is likely that Mirotic and Portis still get a fair share of minutes in order to for Hoiberg to get a fair evaluation of the three.
