Pacers' Aaron Brooks: Out Friday against Magic

Brooks has been ruled out for Friday's preseason game against the Magic with a sore right knee.

Analysis:

Brooks just got over a hip injury that kept him out earlier in the preseason, but he'll now be forced to sit with an unrelated injury. The severity of the setback isn't known, but with five days until the Pacers' preseason finale against the Bucks, Brooks will have an extended time to recover. With Brooks out Friday, Joe Young will move up the depth chart and serve as the backup point guard.
