Grizzlies' Tony Allen: Doesn't play Thursday

Allen (knee) didn't play in Thursday's 110-94 preseason win over the Thunder.

Analysis:

Allen has been held out of all four of the Grizzlies' exhibition games, but is believed to be on track for a return before the start of the regular season. With Allen sitting out Thursday, Vince Carter slid into the starting five at shooting guard, producing five points over 18 minutes.
