Thunder's Enes Kanter: Ruled out for Thursday

Kanter is dealing with knee soreness and will sit out Thursday's preseason game against the Grizzlies, Erik Horne of The Oklahoman reports.

Analysis:

The Thunder will also be without Steven Adams (ankle) and Mitch McGary (foot), leaving the likes of Joffrey Lauvergne, Domantas Sabonis, Ersan Ilyasova and Nick Collison to collecting assume most of the frontcourt minutes. It's believed that Kanter's absence is more of a day off than anything, as he had been forced to take on an expanded role at center the last few games while Adams was out. There's a good chance he'll return to the lineup for Sunday's game against the Timberwolves.
