Pistons' Andre Drummond: Will not play Thursday due to illness

Drummond will sit out Thursday's preseason game against the Hawks while he deals with an illness, Keith Langlois of Pistons.com reports.

Analysis:

The Pistons will be down both their starting small forward and center, as Drummond will be joined on the sidelines by Marcus Morris (knee). Aron Baynes and Jon Leuer are expected to move into starting roles and figure to benefit from bumps in playing time. Considering he's just dealing with an illness, Drummond isn't in danger of seeing an extended absence and could be ready to play Saturday against the 76ers.
