Raptors' Terrence Ross: Will sit out Thursday with sore knee

Ross is dealing with a sore knee and won't play in Thursday's preseason game against the Cavaliers, Mike Ganter of the Toronto Sun reports.

Analysis:

The injury doesn't appear to be a serious issue and shouldn't sideline Ross for an extended period of time. He's fighting to open the season as the Raptors' top wing off the bench, but while he's out Thursday, his main competition, Norman Powell, should have the opportunity to see additional minutes.
