Suns' Brandon Knight: Sits out with knee tendinitis Wednesday

Knight will sit out Wednesday's preseason matchup against the Jazz due to left knee tendinitis.

Analysis:

Knight is expected to act as the team's sixth man off the bench to start the season, with Eric Bledsoe and Devin Booker running as the starters in the backcourt. His role off the bench will still guarantee him plenty of minutes, but he'll be confined to the bench Wednesday due to the knee issue, which would appear to be minor.
