Rockets' Pablo Prigioni: Suffers shoulder strain in preseason win

Prigioni exited Wednesday's 116-104 preseason win over the Pelicans with a left shoulder strain, ESPN.com's Calvin Watkins reports.

Prigioni hurt his shoulder when he ran into the Pelicans' Alexis Ajinca, spelling an early end to his game. He finished with four points (1-1 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 1-1 FT) and one rebound across three minutes. The Rockets are listing Prigioni as day-to-day ahead of Saturday's exhibition against the Grizzlies, but it wouldn't be a surprise if the team ended up holding the 39-year-old out of that contest.
