Grizzlies' Mike Conley: Dominates in return from hip issue

Conley (hip) put up 17 points (6-10 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 3-4 FT), six assists, two rebounds, two steals and a blocked shot across 22 minutes in Tuesday's 121-91 preseason win over the 76ers.

Analysis:

Conley had been limited by hip tightness in recent days and was initially listed as questionable heading into the game, but he ended up starting Tuesday and looked excellent during his abbreviated time on the court. While Conley seems healthy heading into the 2016-17 campaign and should be tasked with a high-volume role in the Grizzlies' attack after inking a five-year, $153 million contract extension, he's been injury-prone the last three seasons, missing at least nine games in each campaign. His inherent health risk may push him out of the first tier or two of starting point guards, but he remains a decent building block for any fantasy roster.
