Lakers' Luol Deng: Will start Wednesday

Deng (knee) will start at small forward in Tuesday's preseason game against the Trail Blazers.

Analysis:

While Deng will be available, coach Luke Walton suggested the team would be "cautious" with him, suggesting that he won't be asked to play major minutes. Deng, who is returning from a left knee bruise, figures to be held out for the majority of the second half, which would open up more run for the likes of Brandon Ingram and Nick Young.
