Hawks' Paul Millsap: Practices Tuesday

Millsap (knee) went through a full-contact practice Tuesday, Chris Vivlamore of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

Analysis:

Millsap has been limited during practices for most of training camp since undergoing a non-surgical procedure on his right knee last month, but his participation in a full-contact workout Tuesday suggests that his preseason debut could be on the horizon. The power forward has sat out the club's first three exhibition contests, but if he's able to continue to get another practice or two under his belt and regain conditioning, he'll likely see game action within the next week. It's uncertain, however, if Millsap will be cleared to play as soon as the Hawks' next game Thursday against the Pistons.
