Pistons' Jon Leuer: Registers 14-5-5 line in Monday's loss

Leuer provided 14 points (6-13 FG, 2-4 3Pt), five assists and five rebounds across 29 minutes in Monday's 86-81 preseason loss to the Spurs.

Analysis:

The contributions in the assist category were good to see from Leuer, but he surely benefited from seeing more playing time Monday than he will when the regular season rolls around. With Marcus Morris fouling out after just 13 minutes, Leuer picked up more run at power forward, where his shooting skills made him a nice fit alongside Tobias Harris. Leuer will open the season as the Pistons' first big man off the bench, but it's a role unlikely to yield consistent fantasy value.
