Mavericks' Devin Harris: Set to make preseason debut Tuesday

Harris (toe) is expected to make his preseason debut Tuesday versus the Thunder, Earl K. Sneed of Mavs.com reports.

Analysis:

Harris underwent offseason surgery on his toe and has been going through further rehabilitation during the early portion of training camp, missing three preseason contests in the process. The veteran was able to take a full-contact practice Friday and appeared to respond well to the activity, as he'll now be cleared to take the court Tuesday, although it wouldn't be surprising if his minutes were limited. After seeing his playing time dip to 20.0 minutes per game a season ago, Harris could see that number fall again in 2016-17 with offseason pickup Seth Curry expected to fill an integral role off the bench in the Mavs' backcourt.
