Pistons' Tobias Harris: Pours in 15 in preseason loss

Harris poured in 15 points (6-13 FG, 3-5 3Pt) and added three rebounds and an assist in Thursday's 101-94 preseason loss to the Nets.

Analysis:

Harris came out strong right out of the chute, draining a trio of three-pointers for good measure in the loss. He thrived after arriving in Detroit at the trade deadline last season, averaging career-best success rates from the field (47.7 percent) and three-point range (37.5 percent) while scoring 16.6 points per game, marking a significant improvement over the 13.7 points he'd averaged in his first 49 contests with the Magic. With a full offseason to gel with his teammates, expectations will be higher for Harris, who may be asked to take on a greater role as a scorer with Reggie Jackson (knee) sidelined to begin the upcoming season.
