By the grace of the basketball gods, power forward Kenneth Faried continues to be a member of the Denver Nuggets, despite the endless amount of trade rumors that follow him wherever he goes.

The team has reportedly shopped his name to teams for the past three years, and continue to do so to this day, sources told ESPN's Zach Lowe.

Faried has been with the organization for five years since going 22nd overall in the 2011 NBA draft. He's long been revered for his tenacity as a rebounder, averaging 8.7 per game over his career, as well as the energy which helped earn him earn the "Manimal" nickname.

The Minnesota Timberwolves reportedly had interest in reuniting Faried with new head coach Tom Thibodeau, who worked with him on USA Basketball's 2014 FIBA World Cup team. A trade ultimately never formulated, though.

Denver hasn't qualified for the postseason the last three years, going 99-147 during that span. Lowe believes management could consider flipping some of their veteran talent in a full-blown rebuild, or combine some of their assets in an attempt to secure a high-profile name in a trade.

Faried is entering the third year of a five-year, $60-million contract extension he inked back in 2014, which is a huge bargain when factoring in the NBA's soaring salary cap. His deal maxes out at roughly $13.75 million in 2018-19.

He averaged 12.5 points, 8.7 rebounds, and 1.2 assists in 25.3 minutes per game last season for the 33-49 Nuggets (11th in Western Conference).
