Pacers' Aaron Brooks: Will not play Thursday

Brooks (hip) won't play Thursday against the Bulls, Nate Taylor of the Indianapolis Star reports.

Analysis:

Brooks returned to practice Wednesday after missing Tuesday's preseason game against the Pelicans, but it looks like the point guard still isn't ready for action and full game speed. With Brooks unavailable, Joe Young should take on an expanded role off the bench Thursday.
