Clippers' J.J. Redick: Will have night off

Redick will be held out of Wednesday's game against the Raptors for rest purposes, Rowan Kavner of Clippers.com reports.

Analysis:

With the Clippers playing the second half of a back-to-back set after getting blown out by the Warriors in Tuesday's preseason opener, Redick will be given the night off. Though he's the only starter who has been ruled out for the contest, don't be surprised if the Clippers' other regulars see restricted minutes in the contest. With Redick sitting out, Austin Rivers will enter the starting lineup at shooting guard.
