Pacers' Kevin Seraphin: Expects to start at center Thursday
Seraphin is expected to start at center again during Thursday's preseason game against the Bulls, Nate Taylor of the Indianapolis Star reports.
Analysis:
Myles Turner (concussion) will miss a second game in a row while getting his conditioning in order, so Seraphin figures to receive another turn with the top unit. Despite the appointment to the starting five, Seraphin is still no better than third on the depth chart at center, as Al Jefferson is the top backup to Turner and will stick on the bench Thursday solely to gain more familiarity with his fellow members of the second unit. Seraphin played 16 minutes in Tuesday's game against the Pelicans, posting two points, five rebounds and one steal.
