Clippers' J.J. Redick: Goes 1-for-7 from field in preseason loss

Redick was limited to two points (1-7 FG, 0-3 3Pt) and two assists across 14 minutes in Tuesday's 120-75 preseason loss to the Warriors.

Analysis:

Redick's poor shooting outing didn't look out of place on a disastrous night for the team overall, with the Clippers hitting just 25-of-77 shots (32.5%). While it was deflating to have that sort of showing against a team the Clippers hope to battle for Western Conference supremacy this season, Redick and company shouldn't be downgraded too much for an uninspiring showing in a meaningless contest. Look for Redick to again serve as the Clippers' No. 3 offensive option behind Chris Paul and Blake Griffin, which translated to averages of 16.3 points and 2.7 three-pointers per game in 2015-16.
