Clippers' Raymond Felton: Fills out stat sheet off bench Tuesday

Felton went for nine points (4-7 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 1-3 FT), three steals, two rebounds and two assists and over 16 minutes in Tuesday's 120-75 preseason loss to the Warriors.

Analysis:

The Clippers' bench largely outperformed their starters Tuesday, and two of their offseason additions -- Felton and Marreese Speights (14 points) -- were major reasons why. Felton won't be asked to cover the 27.4 minutes per game he averaged with the Mavericks last season, but his ability to slot in at either backcourt spot will strengthen a second unit that struggled to give the Clippers much production a season ago.
