Lakers' Timofey Mozgov: Productive in Lakers debut
Mozgov supplied six points (2-4 FG, 2-2 FT), nine rebounds and two assists across 22 minutes in Tuesday's 103-84 preseason victory over the Kings.
Analysis:
Mozgov will serve as the Lakers' starting center to open the 2016-17 campaign, with his primary value coming on the defensive end, where his 7-foot-1 presence will provide some much-needed rim protection. He didn't block any shots Tuesday, but did well to stymie the Kings' interior players when he was on the court.
