Warriors' Klay Thompson: Leads team in Tuesday night's win

Thompson scored a game-high 30 points (10-14 FG, 6-9 3Pt, 4-4 FT) to go with one rebound across 21 minutes in Tuesday's 120-75 preseason win over the Clippers.

Analysis:

The consensus thought heading into the 2016-17 season is that Thompson might have to sacrifice some shots this season with the addition of Kevin Durant to the lineup, but through the first two preseason games, Thompson is getting his looks. That's especially true from three-point range, where 20 of Thompson's 27 shots have come from thus far. Despite his strong start to preseason play, there will be an adjustment for Thompson in 2016-17, as it's easy to envision Durant or Stephen Curry being the team's shot leader on any given night. The key for Thompson is whether or not he can be a contributor in other areas when he's not getting a high volume of shot attempts. The Warriors may want to see Thompson diversify his game a bit, but fantasy players understand that his greatest value comes in his ability to hit three-pointers.
