Knicks' Kristaps Porzingis: Impressive in preseason debut
Porzingis scored 22 points (8-11 FG, 5-6 3Pt, 1-1 FT) to go with four rebounds, two blocks and a steal across 27 minutes in Tuesday's 130-103 preseason loss to the Rockets.
Analysis:
On a night when Carmelo Anthony struggled and played only 22 minutes, Porzingis paced the Knicks' offense with efficient scoring in the paint and from beyond the arc. With Joakim Noah (hamstring) out of action, Porzingis failed to pick up the slack on the defensive end, but he'll see more of his time at power forward once Noah returns.
