Kings' Kosta Koufos: Starts at center Tuesday
Koufos is in the starting lineup at center for Tuesday's preseason game against the Lakers, Jason Jones of the Sacramento Bee reports.
Analysis:
It's widely believed that the Kings plan on starting Willie Cauley-Stein in the frontcourt alongside DeMarcus Cousins this season, so Tuesday's arrangement should only be a temporary one. Even if coach Dave Joerger determines Koufos is a better fit in the starting five, it's not expected that he'll see more minutes than Cauley-Stein, who grades out as a superior rim protector and athlete.
