Lakers' Jordan Clarkson: Coming off bench Tuesday

Clarkson will come off the bench for Tuesday's preseason game against the Kings, Bill Oram of the Orange County Register reports.

Analysis:

Lakers coach Luke Walton said this wasn't a demotion of any kind for Clarkson, but noted that he's simply trying something different by giving Lou Williams a look at shooting guard. Even if Walton finds success with Clarkson coming off the bench and decides to go that route during the regular season, it's likely the third-year player would play a starter's load of minutes and wouldn't see his fantasy impact suffer as a result.
