Raptors' DeMarre Carroll: Ruled out for Monday

Carroll (rest) will sit out Monday's preseason game against the Nuggets.

Analysis:

Carroll is back to full health after missing most of last season while recovering from arthroscopic surgery on his right knee, but he'll just be held out for precautionary purposes Monday as the Raptors look to limit his workload. The small forward looked strong in the Raptors' preseason opener Saturday against the Warriors, scoring 14 points to go with four rebounds and four steals in 19 minutes.
