Thunder's Enes Kanter: Scores 29 in loss to Real Madrid

Kanter finished with 29 points (12-20 FG, 5-6 FT) and 10 rebounds in Monday's 142-137 preseason loss to Real Madrid.

Analysis:

Rookie Domantas Sabonis got the start up front alongside Steven Adams, but it was Kanter who buoyed the interior offense, finishing second only to Victor Oladipo (34 points) in scoring, as superstar Russell Westbrook was capped at 22 minutes. Kanter's defensive shortcomings will likely keep him in a bench role for most of the season -- even after the offseason departure of Serge Ibaka -- but he's been one of the better per-minute producers in the league over the last few seasons and will be a nightly double-double threat if he's able to carve out a large enough workload.
