Pelicans' Anthony Davis: To see similar workload Tuesday

Davis is expected to receive roughly 12 minutes in Tuesday's preseason game against the Pacers.

Analysis:

For the Pelicans' second preseason contest, coach Alvin Gentry said Davis would face a similar workload to the 12 minutes he logged in Saturday's preseason opener against the Mavericks, during which the big man recorded 13 points, three rebounds and one assist. The Pelicans certainly have no reason to overwork Davis in early October, so the decision to cap his minutes doesn't come as much of a surprise.
