Pelicans waive Chris Copeland

The New Orleans Pelicans announced Monday they've waived Chris Copeland.
The 32-year-old small forward was signed in early August to an unguaranteed deal.
He last played for the Milwaukee Bucks last season, when he averaged 2.1 points in 6.5 minutes over 24 games.
Copeland suited up in the squad's first preaseason game Saturday versus the Dallas Mavericks, going scoreless in three minutes.
The move brings New Orleans' roster down to 19 players.
