Hawks' Paul Millsap: Remains 'very, very limited' in on-court activity

Hawks coach Mike Budenholzer said Thursday that Millsap (knee) remains "very, very limited" in his on-court activities while he recovers from a non-surgical procedure, Chris Vivlamore of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

Analysis:

While Budenholzer's quote seems concerning on the surface, Millsap was expected all along to be sidelined for three weeks after undergoing the procedure on his right knee just over a week ago, so it comes as little surprise that he's doing limited work on the court. The power forward has been limited to free throw shooting thus far during workouts, but we should see him ramp up his activities in the coming week as he nears the end of his recovery timetable. It's expected that Millsap will miss most of the Hawks' preseason schedule, but he's on track to return to full strength for the start of the regular season.
