Wizards' Bradley Beal: Being evaluated for concussion
Beal has been placed in the league's concussion protocol and sat out of practice Thursday, J. Michael of CSN Mid-Atlantic reports.
Analysis:
Beal took an accidental shot to the head from teammate Ian Mahinmi during Wednesday's practice and was diagnosed with mild concussion. The Wizards open up their preseason schedule on Oct. 4 versus the Heat, so depending on how long Beal's symptoms last, he could be held out of that matchup. We should see his status updated in the coming days.
