Hornets' Jeremy Lamb: Sits out of practice with ankle sprain

Lamb was held out of Thursday's practice with an ankle injury.

Analysis:

It remains to be seen what the severity of the injury is, but Lamb sat out of practice Thursday with a sprained ankle and will likely be evaluated again prior to Friday's practice session. Considering it's still training camp, the Hornets may opt to play it safe with Lamb and hold him out for a few days. With that said, Lamb is expected to be a key depth option at both shooting guard and small forward during the upcoming season and will look to build on his first campaign with the Hornets when he averaged career-highs of 8.8 points and 3.8 rebounds over 18.6 minutes per game.
