Magic's Elfrid Payton: Sits out of practice Wednesday

Payton (hip) didn't practice Wednesday, but indicated he's feeling better, Josh Robbins of the Orlando Sentinel reports.

Analysis:

Payton said he originally suffered from the hip flexor strain last week before aggravating it during Tuesday's practice. Since he's already reporting improvement, it wouldn't be surprising if we saw Payton return to the court later this week.
