Rockets' Patrick Beverley: Practices fully Tuesday

Beverley (foot) put in a full practice Tuesday, Calvin Watkins of ESPN.com reports.

Analysis:

Beverley had been limited due to a cut on his foot, but he returned to practicing at full speed Tuesday and should be considered healthy going forward. As of now, Beverley is penciled into the Rockets' starting lineup at point guard, though new coach Mike D'Antoni noted Monday that James Harden is expected to see plenty of time initiating the offense. What that means for Beverley remains to be seen, but he still figures to hold a prominent role as the team's undisputed best backcourt defender.
