Hornets' Perry Ellis: Unable to participate in practice
Ellis (sports hernia) has yet to be cleared to practice, Rick Bonnell of the Charlotte Observer reports.
Analysis:
The former Kansas star suffered a sports hernia earlier this offseason and continues to recover as training camp gets underway. He remains without a firm timeline for a return, which doesn't bode well for his chances of making the final roster while he attends camp on a non-guaranteed contract.
