Bucks' Rashad Vaughn: Starts training camp with starters

Vaughn will open training camp as a member of the Bucks' top unit, Charles F. Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

Analysis:

Though Vaughn was a rotation member for the Bucks as a rookie, he failed to make much of an impression, averaging just 3.1 points per game on 30.5 percent shooting from the field. With Khris Middleton (hamstring) set to miss most of the season, the Bucks have a void in the backcourt, which will give Vaughn an opportunity to vie for a starting role. Vaughn could stick with the starters heading into the regular season if he makes dramatic strides in camp, but if not, look for Michael Carter-Williams, Matthew Dellavedova, Malcolm Brogdon and Jason Terry to challenge for a spot on the top unit.
