Raptors' Delon Wright: Out until at least late December
Wright (shoulder) is expected to be sidelined through at least late December, Blake Murphy of Raptors Republic reports.
Analysis:
Wright was ruled out for at least four months on Aug. 1 after undergoing surgery to repair a labral tear of his right shoulder, but because he'll likely need to regain conditioning once the shoulder has fully healed, an early December return doesn't seem overly realistic. On a positive note, Wright is hoping to get cleared for full range-of-motion activities later this week, so it appears he's more or less progressing as anticipated. While Wright is out, Fred Van Vleet or Brady Heslip is expected to make the Raptors' roster as a third-string option at point guard.
