Grizzlies' Jordan Adams: Expects to play this season

Adams (knee) said he expects to play at some point during the upcoming season, Chris Herrington of the Memphis Commercial Appeal reports.

Analysis:

Adams is entering his third NBA season, but chronic right knee issues have necessitated three procedures over the course of his career. While Adams spoke with assembled media Monday and suggested that he was pleased with how he's recovered from his latest operation, he'll still be sidelined throughout training camp and has no official timetable for a return. Even if Adams does get back on the court this season, he'll fill only a minor role off the bench for the Grizzlies, which will prevent him from establishing any meaningful fantasy value.
