Knicks' Joakim Noah: Absent from media day

Noah is expected to miss the first two days of training camp in order to tend to a "family matter," Al Iannazzone of Newsday reports.

The expectation is that he'll rejoin the Knicks on Wednesday without any limitations. Noah is slated to open the season as the Knicks' starting center after coming off the bench for much of an injury-plagued 2015-16 season with the Bulls.
