Pacers' Jeremy Evans: Still rehabbing, may not be ready for season

Evans (shoulder) is still rehabbing and has yet to return to full-speed on-court work, Scott Agness of Vigilant Sports reports. "It's a possibility that he won't be ready for the start of the season," Pacers coach Nate McMillan said Monday.

Analysis:

Evans underwent surgery last March to repair a torn labrum in his right shoulder. He was dealt to the Pacers in July, but isn't expected to factor into the regular rotation. The fact that he's still working back from the shoulder injury and will be limited in training camp will only hurt Evans' case for gaining playing time early on during the upcoming season.
