Wizards' John Wall: To be limited when camp starts

Wall (knee) will be limited when training camp opens Tuesday, J. Michael of CSN Mid-Atlantic reports.

Analysis:

Wall underwent procedures on both knees over the summer and is still recovering from surgery to remove bone spurs in his left knee. The point guard has been working in one-on-one and three-on-three settings of late, but the team will limit him to begin camp Tuesday, with new coach Scott Brooks indicating that Wall will only participate in "some" of the practice, according to Candace Buckner of The Washington Post. The Wizards haven't stated when they anticipate Wall returning to full workouts, but the expectation is that he'll be ready before the regular season opens. However, Brooks stopped short of committing to playing Wall in the preseason, so it's possible the 26-year-old could have some rust early on in the upcoming campaign.
