I will always remember competing against him. I learned a lot in these battles.

Upon the Big Ticket's retirement Friday, most players shared fond memories of Kevin Garnett's good side. Joakim Noah, however, wasn't willing to sugarcoat anything.

Noah took to Instagram to send Garnett off by recalling the time he was nearly bitten by KG:

Garnett certainly wasn't a saint, and his on-court antics often went too far, which Noah knows all too well - he's cut from the same cloth and admired Garnett when he was growing up.

That all changed once Noah got to meet his idol on the court, as Garnett's former sidekick Paul Pierce recalled in 2015:

One time, (Garnett) asked (Joakim) Noah if he could rub through his hair, like a female or something. ... And I know that kind of made (Noah) hot. And this was when Noah was a rookie, too. I remember Noah looked up to KG.

He was like, "Man, KG, I had your poster on my wall, I looked up to you, man." And then (Garnett) just said something like that, and was like "F--- you, Noah."

I was like, "Whoa." This kid fresh out of college, looks up to KG, just said he had his poster on the wall, and he tells him that! It crushed him. It crushed Noah.
