Grizzlies' Jordan Adams: Expects to miss training camp and preseason
Adams isn't expected to participate in training camp or the Grizzlies' preseason games.
Analysis:
After playing only 32 games over his first two NBA seasons, Adams underwent cartilage transplant surgery on his right knee in June, marking his third knee procedure since turning pro. He's spent the entire offseason rehabbing the injury and is progressing as expected, but has yet to receive clearance to return to the court. The Grizzlies don't have an official timetable for his return, and given Adams' problematic history with the knee, it wouldn't be surprising if his absence stretched well into the regular season. Don't expect the former first-round pick to contribute much for the Grizzlies once he's finally deemed fully healthy.
